Raising Dental Fees- How often and how much

We are a fee for service office so our patients really notice if our fees increase- rarely do these changes fly under the radar.
As with most dental practices we are always trying to acquire new patients so we don't want to price ourselves out of the market for patients who are calling various offices looking to change dentists.
We also offer the latest in technology, high end services, excellent customer service, and are constantly attending continuing education classes which of coarse translates into higher fees.
If I go to a five star hotel I don't expect to pay the same rate I would at a Motel 8 even though I'm essentially accomplishing the same thing at both places.
We have found that getting an idea of what your competitors charge can help to guide where you want to set your fees.

I am studying economics and it doesn't make sense that your business needs to raise costs every year. Businesses should only raise fees when inflation happens in an economy or when the cost of doing business increases. Merely raising prices because it is a new year is absurd.

I agree with you each business products are raising their cost because of the inflation occurs in the economy. Build your own customize website and improve your ROI. It make some sense that every business needs to raise costs every year.

The Raise in dental fees are for every dentist. Due to inflation, dental product which are using in treatment have been raised their charges. Our dentist offer proper Hygiene Services in Pickering to the patients in affordable cost.

If you delay this, the realization can make it difficult to raise your fees in one big increase. Smaller regular increases are easier for your patients to swallow (pun intended).

Yes it is obvious that raise in price of dental treatment can effect the number of patients. But as the price of every product is increasing, they can't do anything rather than raising the dental charge.So according to me prices doesn't matters dental care matters.

ReplyDeleteAs a dentist in Mckinney, I really do not like to raise prices because my loyal customers can already barely afford the services. It is inevitable though.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay to go up price as long as the service is also improving. But in my case, i really do not raise prices.But dental implant surgery still expensive though, so I'm not a fan of increasing the cost so it would greatly benefit my patients.
